Is anyone aware that B&W magazine is currently accepting images until the end of
September 2004?

Currently I'm reading, The Imagination as a Means of Grace by Ernest Tuveson, in
which an abundant erudite ideas come forth in an endless flow of intrepretation on
aesthetics, sublime, fancy, imagination. I have yet to undestand all thse complexe
issures. I think Edmond Burke's ideas on the sublime and aesthetics needs some
venturing on my part.
I can tell this, besides technical considerations the moment of creation seems unreal,
yet, all the more real for its time outside time. It's a contradiction of realities captured
by a unique mind.

Can anyone lend any info on the above mentioned area. I'm paddling the lakes and
I'm interested in places to shoot and explore. Thanks!

I went in early October. Great weather! No crowds, discounts, Kitty Hawk sand dunes
nearby. Sorry I can't help you with the birds.

I use both; but digital remains experimental. A PowerShot G3 is my first step into
digital imaging; however I do scan film. I see great potential with digitial but I still
love film, the feel of my hands around my 35mm camera and the knowledge I've
obtained over the years using film. I think I'll stay with both. It's hard to leave an old
magical friend.

Apple offers a web site of 60MB for $100 a year. They offer templates in picture albums, short story, movies, resumes, etc. The price is nice for starting; I have yet to fill all 60MB.

No, don't sell it. The 7E is one of the better EOS models. Instead use your digital to hold down your film lab costs. That's what I do. I use a Canon G3 to shot preliminaries; then when I like what the digital offers me I shoot film. In this way your shooting is more selective; subsequently, you can save lab fees and buy the lens with the savings.

I purchased a Canon D20 and when I received the AC Adapter Kit ACK-E2 the
literature states it is for use with the EOS 10D, D60 & D30. It's a misprint. This is the
adaptor to use for the D20.
Photographic Society of America recommends Digital Camera Technique, Jon Tarrant
for instruction on digitial photography.
