I agree with Bill. This would have more impact for me if the left edge were black, or at least much darker than it is.

My wife and I attended a Christmas at the Mission event. Lots of

crowds, so tried to shoot around them. Saw this image and liked it.

Post processed in PSE 7.0, and used a Topaz Adjust filter which I then

tweaked with sepia photo filter in PSE. Thanks for looking.

Very creative work. Nicely done.

While visiting the beach with family, I wandered around taking

pictures. Passing this scene, I was immediately struck by the contrast

between the beautiful artwork and this man's pose. He remained in that

position for at least 30 minutes.

Had just purchased a 300mm telephoto lens, and wanted to try it out

for the first time. This leaf was floating in a back yard swimming

pool. The background color is a result of the actual color of the pool

lining, rather than any manipulation on my part.

Not sure which category is correct for this one. I chose 'Nature'

since it was a close up of part of a Dale Chihuly glass exhibit at the

Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. Taken with a D700 and 24-70 2.8

lens. For some reason, I was just fascinated by the color and shape of

this particular display.
