I like that the vine is accepting of the rose bush despite its thorny exterior, and even embracing it. That little dark tendril in the middle seems to be giving the rose stalk a hug. Very nice.

Saw these at OCC in the Horticulture depatement. Unfortunately I didn't have my Nikon

The lighting was really interesting due to the clouds - kind of a golden bronze color. I

Wow...this was one weird place. In the middle of one of the widest and flattest parts of the

Mojave Desert there's a cluster of these things that just stick up out of the ground. Your

thoughts on the image? (yes, the lens flare was intentional)

The brine is red due to a species of algae living in it. In these pools you find pink halite

crystals. Your comments on the image?

Great shot, but what is it?

As a person afraid of bees, this image really makes me uncomfortable. In that regard, it's a great image; the fear really comes through.

I really liked the sky in this one, and how the buildings came out light against the shady

background. Your thoughts on the image?

Great contrast of antique and modern architecture. Nice!

You people need to get a grip and learn something about politics - this is horse manure. Have we forgotten September 11? THEY declared war on US. You have to be pretty stupid to compare Iraq to Vietnam, because there's no comparison. So there.

These are the most striking flowers - this plant blooms twice a year. We first saw these in

Palm Springs and had to track down a nursery that had one (these can be hard to get).

Can I PLEASE get some comments this time - It's been days and days since anyone has

commented on my photos. What do you think of this one? I had to take this photo three

times before I could get it right.
