  1. <p>I have used smugmug for selling my sports / event photos. They have several levels of accounts all with unlimited storage. I have a pro level account that allows me to customize my page, set my prices, and I forward the links to the albums to the team's manager. The parents can then browse and order using a credit card. Smugmug handles the printing, shipping and credit card billing and retains 15% as their fee and mails me a check for the balance. It really frees my up to just take pictures that I can batch upload at the end of the day. Go to smugmug.com and take a look. They have trial accounts so you can test drive and if you use this coupon code (Qj2D7W0vzU3ys) when you register you get $5 off the annual subscription. It has served me well for 5 years and has more than paid for my equipment purchases. Good Luck!</p>

I also use the Pro account at Smugmug. I have used them for 3 years and they have been great. As stated above, they have different levels of accounts but all allow unlimited storage and uploads. My customers love the ease of use, fast turnaround times for prints and products, and the quality. Smugmug is very flexible and allows you to go from basic storage to elaborate custom site with a Pro account. Use the discount code below and you will save $5 Good luck!

  3. Keith,

Smugmug offers many other high margin products besides prints. I have used them for 3 years selling sports photos and my customers love the custom sizes including canvas prints. The best part for me is I upload my photos and send the link to the teams via email. They browse at their leisure, place orders and smugmug handles the credit cards printing and shipping to the customers address. I set my own prices and Smugmug retains 15% to cover handling, shipping and billing. About once a month

Smugmug sends me a check. Use the discount code and save yourself $5 Good luck! Greg

  10. My oldest daughter plays HS and club soccer on a U18 team. These games are all played on football size or larger fields. I mount the 70-200 f2.8 and a 1.4X TC on a 1DM2 and find that if I set up on the 18 yard box from the touch line that I can cover most of the field. You will have a bit more reach with the crop factor of the 10D. I just make sure I position myself so that the sun lights their faces. If I am shooting a night game under the lights I need to set ISO as high as 1600.
  11. I have used Smugmug for the last year. Very easy to use and they offer unlimited storage on all levels of subscription. I use the Pro level account which allows you to customize your page and set custom pricing. The nice part for me is that customers can go to the site, order photos of any size, use their credit card and have the items shipped directly to them. Smugmug retains 15% but I don't have to take orders, deal with credit cards or shipping and they send you a check. They also offer a trial membership so you can test drive before you spend money. If you use this coupon code when signing up you get $5 off and subscription. Qj2D7W0vzU3ys Good luck!
  12. I have my 1DM2 set for 11 AF points. I am able to select the middle

horizontal points using the main dial but cannot select any points

vertically using the Quick Control Dial. It just changes between the

last selected point and AFPS. In 45 and 9 AF points all controls work

normally. I have searched the forums and read the manual. What am I

    missing?

  13. I currently shoot a 1DM2 with a 24-70 f2.8, 70-200 f2.8 and a 85 f1.8.

I would like to purchase a 77 mm circular polarizer for the 24-70 but

I am overwhelmed by the choices. Can anyone recommend a brand and

model that strikes a balance between price and performance. I almost

bought the Super Hoya for $129 but balked when confronted with all the

    other choices. Thanks in advance.
