Thank you, Sarah.

I have fortunately finally learned a few things about getting good exposures of snow. Thanks for noticing. No plow needed. The temperature had been in the mid seventies (F) a day or two before and the asphalt was sufficiently warm to clear itself.

Interesting combination, great colors and very nice lighting. Some might say it is too centered but I think it works here.

I have added a square version to my portfolio. I'd be curious what you think.

A fishing boat at sunset in Arraial do Cabo, Brazil.

. . . for the comments. I actually have a square version of the photo. I'll try to post it but I'm at my five picture limit right now.

I like the title "Nylon" but wish that the word on the tire had not been cleaned off.

One of the first pictures that I took with my first D-SLR, my Canon 40D.

I was there with my wife and kids this spring. It didn't look that cool in real life. Great photo. A correction though, this place in Virgin, Utah, not Nevada.

This, too, is on of my favorite photos on Photo.net. I keep comeing back to it. I suggested earlier to crop the eggs and the customer. I have since changed my mind. They add to the story and all the great stuff that is going on in this photo. Here is my take. This girl is a young mother. Her body has a softness of a new mother to it. Her bag is not a purse but a bag for carry baby stuff in. Purses do not have Snoopy on them. I wonder if on the floor to her right there is not a baby carrier with a baby in it? I think she and baby are waiting for Dad to pick them up. Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. :-) Love the photo.

The camera angle bothers me somehow

Great shot. BTW, Zion's is in Utah, not Arizona.

I, too, see Salvator's point but I would really miss those awesome blues at the top of the photo. Much of what makes this picture for me are all the great colors. Great shot.

I really like this picture. The lighting on her face is perfect. A couple of suggestions: Why not crop out the customer and the eggs on the left. I don't think it would hurt to have her a little off center and looking off the long side of the pix. I think toning down the two bright spots behind her head would help too. I really like the "feel" of this photo. Wouldn't have worked in color.
