I was out looking for birds to shoot but found this fella instead. Any
comments appreciated.

Thanks for the comments. The Grackle gives off this beautiful iridescent purplish blue color when in sunlight. But from a distance they look all black. I finally got this shot that shows some of their colors. I just wish I could have gotten him so he didn't blend in so much with the shade of the background water.

I found this little frog beside a small lake. They have this air sack
under their chin that bulges out when they make their sound. Any
comments appreciated.

Spotted this guy outside the window. He was sitting in this perfect
open spot of the tree which made a nice naturalistic setting. Any
comments appreciated.

I found these turtles in a some what interesting position, basking in
the sun beside a little pond. Any comments appreciated.

Thanks for the comments. I did do a good bit of photoshop work on this. I cloned out many of the branches around the grouse's head and then added a little blur to smooth it out. Those were the actual colors in the background.

I got this bird in the wild by Clear Creek state park. I've been told
that grouse are very hard to photograph since they are very skittish,
so I was delighted to find one and have it pose so nicely for me. Any
comments appreciated.

Shot this at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh as this Flamingo was
cleaning and grooming itself with some strange neck contortions. Any
comments appreciated.

I know geese are an all too common subject but this was one of my
better shots of one. The evening sun really lit this goose nicely I
thought. Any comments appreciated.

I caught this nice duck couple in some nice natural sunlight before
the sun went down for the evening. Any comments appreciated.

This was the same view as my previous post, however this shot was
taken later in the day when the sun light was much warmer and softer.
I also cropped it in tighter, hoping for a better composition. Any
comments appreciated.

It's starting to get warmer here in Pennsylvania but many lakes are
still iced over. I found this goose trotting along the ice, probably
wishing it was a little warmer so it would all melt away.
Any comments appreciated.

These ducks either forgot to fly south for the winter or decided to
come back to Pennsylvania a little early.

Still on a quest to get a good deer shot. I finally got this one in
some nice natural sunlight. Any comments appreciated.

I've been trying to get a good shot of a deer for quite some time and
this has been my most close up shot so far. Any comments appreciated.

The baby bunnies are either getting tamer or I'm getting better at
sneaking up on them. Any comments appreciated.
