    Outside the chapel

Tough shot. Leaves look sharp, strange girl looks a bit fuzzy, church soft. With this lighting, you could make her the center, larger and sharp and let church fuzz out.

Remote possibility: Time exposure to get church and include her with flash, if she could hold still long enough.

    A nice blue

For me, the big out-of-focus blob does not contribute but distracts. The bark is very nice against the sky but I think you need a smaller aperture to keep the distant branches in focus. They would be too light weight to distract but would be a nice background for the tree trunk.

This says "England" to me....based on many movies. Excellent composition with woman --"end of day"-- row houses and sunset. (I expect to see a criminal or spy running through the yard. What movie was that?) Thanks for the shot.

Very nice mix of colors, textures and shapes. I shot a similar mix, so I like pics like this one. You also have some beautiful cloud shots. (Another favorite of mine...in endless variety.) Keep up the fine work.

I would bet this is a painting, but I wouldn't win. It is beautiful, abstract, well framed and balanced, all with amazing colors. Thanks for it.

  1. Very nice, fun, series. I especially liked this one. b&w works fine here as in most of your work, which seems like a return to the past, but I think it makes the subject more interesting with less distraction from color....a new thought for me, but I'll study it further.

  2. Great and imaginative of a beautifully maintained and outfitted MG. It breaks my heart since my first car was a 1952 TD right-hand drive. Second, a 53 which I was foolish to sell. Thanks for this photo.
