Fist of all I have to say that this picture is not cropped...it's the exact size that sensor of the camera gives. The reason I went so close to the cannons was only one... I wanted to give a big emphasis to the gigantic size of cannons filling the whole frame as much as I could. Now about your observation, which I thank you for, you are absolutely right.

I think you are right about the horizon...about the sharpening I didn't over do it...about the tighter composition I want to thank you for giving me a new idea... I'll post the same picture following the composition you suggested.
