<p>I have this camera and I dont think is normal. When I bought the Vitessa camera it was perfect, after few months it had a similar problem and was related with the rangefinder mecchanism, finally the rangefinder stop working and when I took the camera to the repairman he was not able to repair it. Now I have a beautiful camera with a excellent lens that is scale focus.<br>
If possible, my recommendation is to send it to repair.<br>

<p>I have that camera with the same lens, the lens is really sharp with full coverage eve wide open. There is something wrong there. It is a lovely lens in a very compact and light 6x9 camera, perfect for travelling.</p>

<p>Verify the state of the mirror, if the silvering has deteriorated then changing the mirror will improve it a lot. I have one Ikoflex like yours and is a great camera.</p>

<p>Zenobia is a really nice 6x4.5 camera, specilly the one with Neo-Hesper lens (4 elements). It does not have rangefinder.</p>

<p>Hi, I got a old brass lens and I attached it to a Canon A1 SLR camera using a extension tube as an adapter. The maximum focus distance is around 40cm (16in).<br>
I took some pictures of objects at home and the results are interesting.<br>
