  1. doesn't work for me. May be useful as a web site background or something, but those are easier to create in The Gimp or whatever didgital tool you use.

     

    I just doesn't seem to *do* anything. It's a pretty background, but where is the subject?

  2. Two blue parrots in an intersting pose. It's a shame the scan is so small - it's hard to comment on any details.

     

    I like the parrots, I like the white tree, and I like the background at the right (what *is* it, anyhow?). My problem is this: two is fine, but three is a crowd. I think the picture would be stronger if it was cropped (even more!) to show just two elements. Either crop to include the tree and the birds, but exclude the background, or include the birds and the background, but exclude the stem of the tree.

    Hmm,, it's an intersting geometric shape, and you have done right in keeping it on b&w.

     

    However, I find that what I typically like about this *type* of image, is to explore the texture. But in your picture, there isn't any?

     

    If the wall is interesting, the get closer to that for an almost two-dimentional composition. Otherwise you have probably done the best there could be done...
