I would rather not give this a context. I would like to see how it
works without the story. All comments greatly appreciated.

You have many beautiful photos and your interest in color and saturation is obvious, but this is my favorite of your collection because of the painterly quality and lyricism of the subject. It has an impressionistic quality that matches the subject.

I scanned my face and then used inverted magic wand selection to
areas of the face that were then filled with black. No feathering
created the fragmented edges. I also used healing brush to eliminate
pores and then manipulated grain to create more uniform surfaces. When
I was near finished, I realized that this reminded me of the "mirror
on the wall" from Snow White.
I would appreciate any technical as well as aesthetic comments.
Thank you

This was a shot of a place in the Florida Everglades where people dump
their junk and target practice. This was a sunny day and I used a red
filter to dramatize.

I took a typical, posed, event-snapshot and tried to "portraitize" it
using Knockout and a complementary background. I wanted to focus on
the personalities revealed through a candid pose. These are two
friends from Trinidad. I like Karensa's "Mona Lisa Smirk."
