Marvelous, layered composition here. Cropping a bit off the top might make for

a tighter composition...well done!

I like the shallow depth of field here, which helps set off the texture of the cactus. I'd really like to see this around sunrise/sunset...

This is a tough composition to work with, that is, to make a dramatic or emotional landscape. You might want to consider cropping the left tree out, leaving more of a 'lonely' impression to the image. Good luck! Brian

This was shot on a cloudy late afternoon/early evening. In the conversion from RAW, I used a setting which warmed up the tones a bit (cloudy). The result might be a bit on the warm side, but for now I like the result - it captures exactly the warmth and texture of the moment...
