Sunrise from the eastern end of Hunt's Mesa, looking north.

From a great, but short shoot at Mono Lake last Fall.

I like the shallow depth of field here, which helps set off the texture of the cactus. I'd really like to see this around sunrise/sunset...

A very windy morning on the Mesquite Dunes...your comments/critiques
appreciated. 1/500 sec; f/18.

Very, very nice treatment of the subject here. The cropping is just right,
and marvelous tones.

All comments, critiques welcome. Shot last winter on a bitterly cold
day in White Sands, New Mexico.

An impressionistic view of a wonderful field of yellow flowers. Your
comments appreciated.

Found this little hoodoo and sandstone outcropping while out with my
son on his first landscape shoot with me...All comments/critiques welcome!

This evening down in Sedona. While the sunset was beautiful, the
afterglow in the evening was even better. All comments/critiques
appreciated.

This is a tough composition to work with, that is, to make a dramatic or emotional landscape. You might want to consider cropping the left tree out, leaving more of a 'lonely' impression to the image. Good luck! Brian

This was shot on a cloudy late afternoon/early evening. In the conversion from RAW, I used a setting which warmed up the tones a bit (cloudy). The result might be a bit on the warm side, but for now I like the result - it captures exactly the warmth and texture of the moment...

As I walked across the alcove, I saw this image coming together.
Just had to lower myself about 20 feet to bring the figures above
the horizon line to get the desired effect. All comments/critiques
welcome!

The light only lasted about 90 seconds...but it was wonderful. All
comments/critiques always welcome.

I really like abstracts, and the creative use of positive and negative space. This is very nice - a great balance of tone, shape, and space...well done.

The lighting here is magical - great capture, and great composition. Well done.

A quick shot during a recent shoot of a local dance company. She
struck the pose waiting between shots...I said 'Hold it!' - adjusted
lights - and snapped this one image...
