I love this 7/6.

Great colours and mood.

Merry Christmas and thanks for rating.

Thanks for all the feedback. I actually like the grey sky, a blue sky just wouldn't have had the same effect :)

I agree, the dish out of place and it draws your eye straight to it. Good composition and I love the colours.

Nice composition but the colours look over saturated. What post processing did you do?

Thank you for your comments. It was quite a warm morning for this time of the year in Scotland.
I also like the reflection of the tree in the water and wouldn't want to crop it out.

I took this picture on holiday at Seaton Sands near Edinburgh.
All comments welcome.

Noticed this nice sunset a couple of nights ago out my window and ran
to the bottom of the village to take a few shots before the light was
gone.

The angle of the camera and the amount of motion blur on the girl (and the fact she's running away) just don't work for me.
-
I'm not sure if it's camera shake or bad focus but this image is not very sharp. It's also a shame there wasn't more interest in the sky.

The quality of the scan and the lense flare spoil this image for me, especially the bright strip on the left. I like the composition and I'm sure a better scan and some work in photoshop could improve this image.

When you rate someones pictures as a 3/3 could you please leave a comment as to what is bad about it and how it can be improved. Otherwise don't bother rating as it has no relevance....
Anyway to this image. I agree that this image has no focal point but I like the sense of movement and the vibrant colours.
