This is one of the first shots in my new home studio. I decided to
get some older Bowens mono 400's as it's getting colder outside and
wanted to try something different as my photography so far has
centered on landscapes. I created a duplicate layer of the picture
in photoshop with the "screen" blend mode and about 60% opacity. I
like the result and hope you do.

You probably think this is a strange name for this image but I can
tell you, the Mosquitos on my kneck/shoulders thought they were in
heaven, as I was too busy taking this shot to notice them! This was
taken during my holiday in Majorca just after sunrise. The cloud cover
stopped any worth while shots as the sun came up, but cleared enough
to add some light to the scene. Please leave constructive feedback
and check out my other holiday snaps.

Thanks for your comments. The light was great and I'm glad I went out a bit earlier than normal and got this shot.

Do the leaves on the tree make a good frame for the sunset as planned
or do you think they detract from the image?
Constructive comments welcome.

Thanks for taking the time and effort. I do like what you've done with it and it is a lot more dramatic than the scene actually was. I'll have a play around with the RAW file.

The sunset was a bit disappointing but I still liked the results. I
feel the haze in the background added to the mood, what are your thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback Vincent and now that you've mentioned it my eye keeps getting drawn to those branches, They'll just have to go!

This was taken just before sunset but facing away from the setting sun. As you can see from my other pictures I have captured this location before at sunrise with the vibrant colours and I was looking for something more subdued with a relaxing mood.
Thanks for looking.

Thank you for your comments. I have adjusted the levels slightly to bring out more detail in the bridge.

I love the colours in the sky but the cables are really distracting.
