Best viewed larger. Cropped image from first outing with Nikon D2h.
Not modified. I wanted to get the saturated colors of the fences
behind -- almost like a mini golf course for 1400 pound animals!

You left out the apes throwing bones. You need to co-credit Stanley Kubrick! Nice shot, though. What are they?

Your name adds something erotic to this shot

One problem with portraiture is that most of our families and friends are not professional models. A happier face might have helped, because the light and background are wonderful. You should use PS to make some small cosmetic improvements...most women appreciate this, even if they are backpackers who profess love for all things natural. OK, now you can hate me! BTW, EVERY shot you see of professional models are touched up, generally to a huge degree.

A terrific shot -- the tonality is very appropriate to the mood of the picture. I might add some contrast in the sky, and would clone out the birf -- I think it is completely distracting, though maybe at 8x10 or bigger it becomes a feature. It just pulls the eye off the subject for no good reason.

The frame helps define the space. Open to comments -- I found the
color movement mesmerizing and waited for maximum action in the
reflections. The original file is almost 4MB, so the richness of
detail and color is awesome. The D2H makes better images than an 8 mp
canon I played with last week!

This is either a bad file or a dead photo...it needs light and contrast. It looks dull and out of focus. Perhaps a close-up study of the stratification ar left would work. The composition is sabotaged by the debris.

Do you actually live in a place that looks like this? Is that possible? As far as photography goes, that's like being married to Hedi Klum or some such -- how do you take a bad picture?

Love dem shots of dem colorful natives!

There's something about flowering trees in New York City in
Springtime that almost makes it worth living here. I almost broke my
neck getting the buildings in the corner to keep an urban background
without overpowering the "natural" subject.

I love this shot of my favorite city on Earth. Nice title, too.

Just looks like a snapshot.

You need to touch up this photo -- get rid of all the dust and junk...it's distracting. Otherwise, a fun shot! Perhaps Martha Stewart could use one of those referee shirts now!

Tried to get the atmosphere on film. Unmanipulated.

From first shots with new digital camera in 30" snowstorm before
Xmas.

In summer, this garden is a riot of color. Taken hanging from a tree
limb to get it centered during a 30" snowstorm. First shots with new
digital camera.
