Shot at a small rock concert in Akureyri Iceland, the show was not that good but this guy was
a fine model.

Rays of light on a pavement and shattered ice.
What do you think?

Welcome to Iceland too see it for yourself :)
Well, perhaps it may be it is a bit overexposed, but this is close to how I saw the sky that night. One thing that must be taken to account is that the lights from the village svalbardseyri is barely a factor in this image, you can see that the side of the lighthouse is a little "lit" but it is far less light than from the sky and moon. Actually the light on the top of the lighthouse was by far the strongest lightsource so I had to hold my hand in front of the lens every time that light was pointing at me and I only let it go for three times or so in the rest of the exposure.
But for your information, in midsummer in Iceland the sun never sets, so obviously it never gets dark, kind of nice.

Just a horse I spotted from my car and decided to try a few shots.

Very nice artistic texture, like it. The seaweed in the upper right corner is a bit distracting though.

An alternative version of Moon in fog nr I (and II). I used a flashlight to add light to the straws
(also the fog was fading away). Which one do you prefer?

An alternative version to Moon in fog I which is also in my portfolio. Comments would be
highly appreciated.

I also have a different version of the same image.
Comments would be highly appreciated.

Used a flashlight to "paint" light to the waterfall and surroundings.

A few ice sculpturers were working downtown so I went and took a few shots. This is a part
of a christmas tree they had made.

A delicate natural phenomenon in Iceland.
Comments would be highly appreciated.

Thanks. Yes the 717 was often quite noisy, plus that this one is cropped out of a larger image. Good point with the cropping on top, I crop most of my pictures in 3/2, but one shouldn?t get stuck in such things :)

Trying to capture the calming but strong atmosphere of this sandy seashore.
Critique would be highly appreciated.

Actually I made it this way deliberately. I took it as far as I could without burning it completely white but I didn?t see that when I saved it as jpg it blew out a little.
