    30 seconds, shot in RAW to get the most out of it. The final raw conversion was had quite a lot more northern lights than the jpg that was saved simultaneosly.

    Well, perhaps it may be it is a bit overexposed, but this is close to how I saw the sky that night. One thing that must be taken to account is that the lights from the village svalbardseyri is barely a factor in this image, you can see that the side of the lighthouse is a little "lit" but it is far less light than from the sky and moon. Actually the light on the top of the lighthouse was by far the strongest lightsource so I had to hold my hand in front of the lens every time that light was pointing at me and I only let it go for three times or so in the rest of the exposure.

    But for your information, in midsummer in Iceland the sun never sets, so obviously it never gets dark, kind of nice.

    Actually I made it this way deliberately. I took it as far as I could without burning it completely white but I didn?t see that when I saved it as jpg it blew out a little.
