    Thoughts? I have the same image cropped more tightly in my ballet

    gallery. Do you think this image is better or the one with the closer

    crop?

    Thanks. There wasn't too much to do to the image. The stage and backdrop were already black and the girl was lit by a softened spotlight.

    I shot this 10 years ago when I was traveling in the northern mountain regions of Vietnam. I was 16 at the time shooting with my dad's Nikon N90. Scenes like this can really put one's life in perspective.

     

    There was a lot of dust and some scratches on the negative that I decided to keep in the photo. I converted the image to B&W in Photoshop and added some vignetting.
