The Skokomish River empties into the Hood Canal. Looking for critiques
and comments.
Thanks!

Looking for comments, and ideas. Thanks.

Doesn't look "real". Is it very sharpened, or multiple pictures? I like the idea anyways.

Looking for critiques. Any comments on mine will be objectively
returned on yours.

Nope. The people were there. I admit I did clone out a toy near the kid's feet however. I tried to get them lighter, but it started to blow out the sky. Now that I know more about PS, maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks for looking and commenting.

Thanks. This is a ghost town named Bodie. It is in California, about 40 minutes north of Lee Vining, CA. Lee Vining is the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park. (Visit the Mobil Station for dinner in Lee Vining.)

Thank you. It is what I call a Plane. It is used by woodworkers to smooth a board to a flat plane. This of course is just a sideways close up. The real thing is about 2 feet long, 4 inches wide and 6 inches high.

This really works for me. I like the colors of the lift chairs contrasted against the natural colors of nature. You may want to bump the saturation up just a bit, to really make those things pop. Your exposure and composition work ver well here.

I'd have spent a little more time getting things straight. It tilts down to the right just a bit. Other than that, this is very well done. Good exposure, nice colors. It is a simple idea that translates very well on film.

The framing is a little weak. Maybe a little too much foreground, and too little background. But most of all, the shot is overexposed. Put it into PS and tweak the curves and you'll have a much better pic. Overall, nice effort.

But I agree, the frame has got to go. I think a nice frame adds considerably to a pic, but this is too much. The pic on the other hand, is fantastic. Nice detail, great exposure. It is hard to get a pic like this and not lose detials in the busy-ness. You've done that here. Hear hear.

It's the yellow of the center boat, and especially the theme repeated in the flag that makes this good.
It could be improved just slightly by removing the straight line in the upper left corner. Other than that, very nice.
Really good exposure, nice colors, and a good feel for texture.

Shot in the Red Rock Canyon outside Lost Wages, NV. Looking for some
real input.

Kevin,
These are really nice. Of course, I have been inspired by the same buildings. Your choice of subject re-affirms my belief I am shooting the right stuff.

yeah, i am still trying to get a decent still life like this.
it could use a little more sharpness, but the compo and the arrangement is great.
great work.

Nice composition. But too small, and not sharp enough.

Folks,
This exhibit is absolutely STUNNING in its depiction of our effect on our planet. See it. Believe it. Help us. I saw it in Chicago, and again in London. It never changes. We are destroying oursleves. (Don't s--- where you eat!)
Make a donation. Recycle a bottle. Help a helpless person.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

But I would have cropped out the porches on the left side, and removed the dominant red.
