bodie ghost town and lift pulley

shot looking for dof. also trying to get feel of abandoned western.

Nice idea, but the lift pulley dominates the scene too much. Backing away and using a longer focal length would put the pulley closer to the buildings. Also, the lighting was not in your favor here.

good depth of field where is this?

Thanks. This is a ghost town named Bodie. It is in California, about 40 minutes north of Lee Vining, CA. Lee Vining is the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park. (Visit the Mobil Station for dinner in Lee Vining.)
