Just learning to play around with colors and crops. I do realise

that the image is not in focus, its blown out and the like... I'm

trying to see which one of the crops of the same image in this

folder looks better ? and why.. The lack of a disctinct subject, I

hope, helps to look at just the color and the crop in isolation.

Shot this while riding up a mountain pass towards the ladakh valley in

the northern Himalayas of India. I liked the shadows of the clouds on

the valley below.

This looked like an interesting shot to me. This is the gateway to a

different world.

This is a good snap ! Will cropping the image to reduce the out of focus area help ?

After I read your reply I tried looking at my image for sometime.. and yes it gave me a head ache !! So having the whole thing in focus sounds much better.

Nice to know that you are from Mysore, I finished my engg from NIE.

The foreground is not in focus in this snap, but I think this helps to

focus the viewer into the core of the flower. Do you think its better

to have the whole flower in focus ?

There seems to be a little bit of lens flare. Does the composition

interest you ? Do you feel like visiting the place looking at this snap ?

Just plain lucky to be at the right place at the right time, but did I

use it well ?? I tried to get something in the foreground to the lower

right part of the image, but did not find anything. Does the image

still work for you ?

How do you ensure that your camera does not turn up in the reflection on the marble ?

Have you tried doing away with the black in the upper part of the picture ? It would probably make the viewers think that these marbles stretch to infinity..
