What's not to like about B&W photos of steam engines?! Good work

Thanks for your comment, sorry for taking so long to reply!
I was using shutter priority in order to avoid 'freezing' the propellor blades so I wasn't intentionally using f14 - but I will take note of your comment. In any case, it is a superb lens!
many thanks

A fairly ordinary scene, we've probably all seen views like this - but you have made it extraordinary. The 'tilt' is something that I would never have done but it adds immensely to the over all effect. Very well done.

Apparently hippos are responsible for more human deaths than any other animal in
South Africa...!

Thanks to those of you on here that gave me a few tips before I went - greatly
appreciated.

Hi
Taken on a Saturday afternoon walk at the end of April.
I spent a few minutes chatting to a fielder who was in considerable discomfort having
pulled a muscle bowling his first over and now couldn't run.
However he was determined to see the match through and have some well-earned
'anaesthetic' at the local pub. Wonderul stuff!

The orange and blue work very well together. I think it might benefit from a crop to lose the 2 windows on the right? I find them a bit distracting.
