You can call the church before the big day....during the ceremony I think it is best to be discreet.

Simon, I know what you mean...:)

Take a look at these cocoons. Not as user friendly, because of the zippers and velcro... but I have one and now I see they are on sale. :) You can use them outside in daylight for all over even lighting...using the sun! Or in the studio-very light weight.

what's up with all the 'Amazon' ads? Right in the middle of the photo critiques? pretty annoying.

Take the picture.
Photos of homeless-sleeping is a no-no.

Sad to see this, such young people learning to hate....

Too bad, these won't be the last, and they are not the first to write things on artillery shells.

I would have at least 2 batteries. But, I am trying to buy the grip, and have a total of 4 batteries. That might be over kill for some photographers, but I work for the army and I can go thru these batteries pretty fast. I am surprised at how fast these betteries are eaten up. The D100 battries seemed to last for ever. Thanks for the lead on where to buy some batteries.
-
All good advice. Get more batteries and the grip if you can find them, and of course let us know where they are! This camera eats thru the 1 battery that comes with it. I really like the 18-35 lens, also the 24-120....have fun! Get extra memory....

James, I will say this is by far the best lens that I have. It is tough, it is sharp. I love it. I have not used the 70-200 vr, but I have 2 other VR lens, the 80-400 and the 18-35. The 80-400 is ok. I love the 18-35, my other favorite lens, but I have had problems with it, and I am on my second one. If you look in my portfolio alot of the tight portraits were taken w/ the 80-200 2.8. I can't remember...but I would highly recommend this lens, and I work for the army and my gear gets very beat up. Any other questions, email or here.

I think the rating system is rigged.

Hey Tom, I just got a D200.... There is a plastic covering on the plastc thing over the viewfinder....you can peel it off. (I know, I am so technical)....but I do agree it does look more yellow..I see big differences- but all good- from my D100...
-
Somehow this rating system is rigged....

Good question! I think the rating system is somehow rigged.....
