Other than the newer style tripod, what other changes would you
recommend. Do you think this is worthwhile to reshoot with an old
wooden tripod ?

This is an idea I've had for a while.. I saw a cartoon back in the
60's of a man sitting at a bus stop after we sold off our buses.. It
was a skeleton waiting for a bus that would never come.
I heard there was a rumor that sometimes models can take some time to
get ready, so with tongue in cheek, I put this together. Model is
Sarah Ellis..
Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I did making it.

I thing vertical would look good as well, but I really like the horizontal. My reasons for that involve the very subject of the image and the environment affected by their stampede. The dust clouds and rock gives you more of a feeling of the steepness of their ascent.
The charging is centered which gives you the feeling they are coming right at you.
I'm sure a vertical would look great, but I'm not convinced it would look better. I like the additional detail and story from this aspect of the image.

I shot this 15 different times trying to get the sky, but today, the
light was amazing on the building, but the sky was (blech).. I threw
in the towel and inserted a sky I shot a week before..
I normally don't manip like this, but I loved the light on the
building so much I couldn't resist. Hope you don't mind.

Another retro glamour series

This was shot on a set that Playboy has used in the past. I felt
priviledged to have been able to use it.

Backlighting only. 2 Half-dome softboxes with fabric grids for lighting.

She's not naughty by nature.. She's a great model, but knew I was
uncomfortable shooting nudes, so she proceeded to embarass the hell
out of me.

Moving away from stale backgrounds and trying to put something in the
background.

Shot for an upcoming gallery in Harrisburg. Model is Fae Allander.
If you give a crappy rating, please take the time to tell me why you
feel that way. If you give a great rating, please do the same.

Huge softbox in front, reflector fill, 2 half domes in the back with
fabric grids for the rim light and a hair light on a boom. If you give
a crappy rating, please take the time to tell me why you feel that
way. If you give a great rating, please do the same.

I have been visiting the Eastern State Penitentiary for years now, but
this particular cellblock has always aroused my curiosity and pushed
me to try something a little different than a flash based exposure.
I set the Aperture to F22 which worked out to abouta 8 second
exposure (ISO 200 Sony A700 Tamron 2.8 17-50 XR DI 2 lens)
I waited specifically until people were moving more quickly through the
corridor and then set the timer to 2 seconds and fired.
I'm just curious to know if anyone finds this effect / and shot interesting
at all (or should I just keep trying?)
