  1. Oh, so THAT's what's happening! I thought I was going crazy. At first I thought it was

    because at work I use a PC and at home I use a Mac, but when it seemed to be switching

    randomly I was utterly confused. Thanks for clearing that up, and the tip!

  2. I like to scan b&w negs in "true color" - the scanner gives them a warm sepia to orange

    tone, which can be controlled by changing the selection area and allowing the scanner

    software to adjust exposure & color. See <a href="http://www.photo.net/photodb/

    Everything except some of the Switzerland photos and the first folder were done by this

    method. Then you can play with the toning in PS.

  3. Yeah. Me too. Many times I find myself giving low ratings to photos even though "technically" there's nothing wrong with them - they are just boring and completely unoriginal. But I would like some way to express the fact that the technique is fine - it's the imagination/originality that's lacking.
