    An Iris & A Dog

Looks like it was taken early in the morn--like the dog being out of focus and the highlights in the background. Also like the moisture on the flowers. Gold 100 handles contrasty light better than a lot of people think.

MX film is repacked Konica film--Konica tends toward pink in most of its 400 iso versions that I have used. I like the VX Konica and MX Mit films for P&S pics. In the consumer film arena there are not a lot of great choices in 400 film. Kodak 400 is trash and Superia 400 is INFERIOR to CZ 800 (Superia or Press). Konica takes up the slack here. Since I use the 400 film in older P&S camera that don't have a film speed setting more than 400, I have to thank Konica. Good luck with your photography and thanks for your response.

So somebody else uses MXII film. Where did you find it? Seems like MXII was some mutation of the old Konica VX film, although the MX tends to be less grainy. Tends toward blue and pink tones unlike most other consumer films that are either big time red and gold (Kodak) or green (Fuji). I still have copious amounts of MXII in 400 speed and 200 speed but fear I will run out someday and will be forced to go convetional.
