Try these guys in Hong Kong. They have an online, auctionsite and phisical store.
Here's the link to the C645 accesories:
http://www.hksupplies.com/product/product1.cfm?page=3&type=Contax%20645%20AF%20Accessories
They seem to have stock of just about all the C645 goods and will ship worldwide.

I've been all over Europe & Scandinavia.
Scotland.
Every turn in the road has a photo around the bend!
-
I went through the same exercise and, for the reasons stated above, bought the 12-24mm.

I use my Contax 645 with the WL finder lots.
Love it.
Vertical comp. is not that big a deal since the WLF is designed to work esentialy with the camera on strap around the neck.

I'll be in contact.
Thanx

Hi all,
I'm looking for a Kodak DCS pro back © or pro back plus, for my
Contax 645.
Any pointers please?
None on ebay.........
Some people must have upgraded to the higher res backs now available
and I'm hoping they will want to get rid of the old back.
Regards.

Must have a second batery.
Must charge both the day before.
Mine works fine that way.

You should have the cards to do the job.
The portable drive should be a backup only.
when you're done with the shoot, you should backup to another drive and write a DVD. Then only clear the cards after verification of the data.

Hi, great cam!
I received one of the first batch and no problems at all.
Wide lens for me is the 12-24, great! simply great!
Iso noise? Yes there is. When's the last time you had a look at the grain on a 800ISO film?
The people tend to make so much of the noise thing!
I'll attach a pic done at High2 (3200ISO), done with the 80-400VR at 1/80 ss with VR on - handheld. No noise reduction used.<div></div>

The ideal setup (for me) is the 24-70 and 70-200 range zooms.
That said. On a digital the 24-120 can do a whole wedding (less is more!), so there's no changing of lenses. But then I believe you should do some close-ups of the rings, flowers etc. so a macro comes in handy as well - I use the 105 micro - so there will be some lens changing anyway.
Remember, when using a wide, you will get distortion. Use it wisely to achieve effect. If you intend to do larger groups with a wide, the group setup can help achieve a better result.
The flash is VERY important! Invest in a SB600 or SB800.

I use the 12-24 and 24-120 Nikkor's, but if you need a film lens as well, I'd go for the Sigma 17-35 F2.8-F3.5.

The only thing I would want more than my D2X, is a second body!
If finance is not a problem get the D2X.
If you just need something to use for a while, get a Canon 350D with a 17-85IS kit lens.
-
You can do prints to billboard size with the D2X. It's all in the dpi!
-
Take the 50mm f1.8 back get the f1.4!
-
Nikon has this tied down with the SB800 & SB600.
I shoot with 2 SB800's - flawless!
-
Add a good flash and you'll handle just about anything!

Try a post at
Its a South African based site with many members using southern africa as base.

It's an OK lens.
Just never use the VR when its not needed, ie. on tripod or handheld at high enough shutter speed.
The VR ellement will cause a "ghost" blur when it tries to correct a vibration that's not there!
Regards.

I use it all the time.
Camera set on manual focus, and by pressing this button you have Auto focus too. Very handy. You can then fine tune manually.
Regards.

Contax645 with 22mp back and 120mm Zeiss.
Canon can only dream of that combination!

Sick of labs,
Do my own printing - Epson Stylus 4000.
I do a lot of third party printing as well, scanning to print off slides, negs or prints.
-
To each job its own tool.
I use Canon & Fuji travel cams.
Fuji Instant
Contax 35mm
Contax 645
Rolleiflex TLR
Nikon D2X
Sinar P2 - 4x5 & 8x10
