Love the originality,we have all been there at one time or another.
-
Outstanding composition and color hues!Great portfolio.
-
Austin, you have a great eye for color.Very nice portfolio.
-
The best shot I have seen of this,IMO.
-
I think this is really nice and deserves a higher rating than it has been getting. The warm light on the grass in front of the stone looks awesome.Have you considered cropping just above the dark cloud line Christian? It would give you more DOF.
-
Vijay,I like the composition and the water does look like a beam of light. The only thing that bothers me is the amount of blocked out shadows in the upper part of your image.Crop a little more from the top and leave about half of what you have now.Good exposure.
-
The way the clouds lead you into the mountain is a real eye catcher Craig, nice use of your wide angle.I have an image called 'Country Road' you might like, similar effect with wide angle. You got a great portfolio by the way.
-
I also like your other one better Craig.Your DOF is right on here and so is your exposure...it just lacks the drama in the previous image.
-
This is an image I can really relate to Volker. The dark, almost brooding colors has a real calming effect...well done.
-
The harmony between colors are outstanding. You nailed the magic hour here Volker!
-
Of all of the slot canyon images I have seen, yours are the best Volker. You are a master at what you do...perfect image!
-
Very atmospheric! The light and clouds are to die for...great shot.
-
Great composition Craig!I really like the heavy polarization against the clouds and the DOF...but it is the reflection of the whatchamacallit that makes the image.Well done.
-
Outstanding composition,it is your best!

Could be a visual interpretation of the philosopher bearing your same name.Nicely done but the uneven horizon is a little distracting...but then again society on a whole leans toward distraction does it not?
-
Brian, the mood is dreamland and your execution is flawless. The water is silky enough and not overdone.Very nice image!
-
A great image and very good use of the Blue/Yellow Polarizer.I am like you Kenneth, these filters are a lot of fun to use.
-
This is as good as it gets andI think the best in your magnificent portfolio. You are among the best in the business IMO.

After looking at snapshots day after day(some exceptions)for the past few weeks on the gallery this image is a breath of fresh air to me.Simplicity at it's best with converging lines that work.Just enough in this shot to make it interesting.

Irv,
The photo is exposed correctly but too bad it was not taken early morning or real late afternoon. The light is just not quite there yet.A little bit more of the foreground should be cropped,it distracts somewhat from the main focus of image.I believe an 81A warming filter would have compensated some for lack of warmer light, otherewise a pretty image.
