Pretty scene, background. and colors. Her smile looks pretty natural. Might like to see a shot withher right shoulderroataed back - it looks a little too much forward of a natural position, to me! Being shifted to back it might smooth out the skin folds in her neck.
al in all you have a very nice collection of Sr portaits

Not very interesting to me, and I love sailing.Lived in Newport, RI for a few yrs and during the last America's Cup races.
anyways, composition is fine. BG, behind stern of nearest boat, is very busy. I think the time of day is throwing it all off. Would be nicer at dusk, with the lights on in the restaurent, and the boats.

I like then general look of this portrait but couple of things ....
There is lot of dark space in bottom left corner. Almost 2/3 of the comp is of his fingers/hands to bottom of print. and 1/3 of his face.
The position of his hands & arms seems too posed. His right elbow too high - maybe on stack of books? That position opens all that dark area, bottom left.
Almost as if his hands are more of your focus than his face.
As mention by another person, a little fill light onto his left eye would be good.

Beautiful capture. When I first glanced at the large thumbnail, I only thought of a Southern California beach scene! Especially soothing as I live in the northeast part of the US where it has been quite cold.
I have enjoyed looking at this photo. I think the upload resolution may have something to do with railing fringing & lack of detail. But then again, it is quite high contrast. -
Beautiful toning and comp. But, might be better with her head tilted back bit more so that the section of wood above her head does not follow her head and neck so well.
And, little blue clothing area at bottom right - should be erased.

Like to see more DOF. What was your aperture setting? how close were you to this little 'guy'? Overprecessing may have been done to attempt to get more DOF/sharpness.
Beautifu, soothingl colors.

Nice abstract - color, softness, & composition.Looks like a painting.
Very nice.

Needs something in focus or go blurrier, throw out of focus and make it more of an abstract, of colored light patterns.Composition is good with the varying angles of light.
-
needs more DOF.and white area, left of ccenter is distracting.

Not sure if this is a flower bud before blooming or a fruit of some kind, but still an interesting subject. Like how the back lighting works.
Feel it is too centered, vertically, but tilted angle is good. I'd like to see it with aperture maybe a stop more open. DOF is too short for me - hard to make out a nice sharp area.
Beautiful solors and bokeh.

Nice interpretation of a pensive moment on her 'big day', I'm assuming she is the bride .Perhaps looking out for the groom??
B&W is best fit for this image also.
I'd like to see the crop lower, maybe to mid upper arm. Just feels too tight cropped up that high. Just my opinion.

Beautiful scenic of Pakistan. Never knew that Pakistan had 'green' areas of their landscape - thought it was all dry, barren, rocky and desert like! Thank for opening my eyes.
Nice composition - the path brings you into the picture, curves and leads you through the image.

Now that's a bit 'below the belt'! Have to call a 'foul' on that punch!!!
Glad you were there to capture this shot.

Beautiful capture. could there be a castle tower, just right of center, rising up from the lowland by waters edge?
Glad you were there to bring us the sight.

IMHO - not enough area in sharp focus. Makes my eyes work too hard to enjoy it. The light should be diffused a bit so there are no sharp shadow edges.

Shot with D70S, 300 f4 on monopod. Also shot with D300 and Sigma 70-
200 f2.8. Feel welcome to critique any of my other gallery shots/images.

First shot with my new (used) Nikon 300 f4. Wow! How niiiice! IMHO.
I forgot to change the ISO from 1250 so there is apparent graininess. Just hit it with 'autotone' and touch of noise control in Lightroom.

From 2003, I believe. This is an annual Fall regatta in Cambridge/Boston Massachusetts, USA. Thoussands of spectators attend to watch the two days of racing along the Charles River.

I like the concept of the portrait, but not sure why the focus point was placed on her hair lying next to her t-shirt?
Seems as though either her face or front of camera should have been sharp...or both
