BTW, there appears to be no change in the image when I look through the viewfinder and change the FLE setting. SHould I see a difference as the FLE is turned?

Please help! I just bought a used Hasselblad 50mm Distagon FLE lens. I use a split screen focusing screen much like that used in Leica M cameras. The image is split until correct focus is achieved, then the image is whole. The problem is the image never become whole. I put the FLE ring on infinity and focused on a distant subject. Even when the focusing ring is alos set on infinity, the image does not align (become whole). Am I doing something wrong? The lens appears to me in mint shape in every way. What is the best way to acheieve accurate focus? Why does the image not align? I am using a prism finder rather than the waist level finder, not that I think that matters.

When I focus this lens on my split image screen, the lines in the subject do not line up. I just got this lens today, used, and I don't think it is focusing correctly. I set the FLE ring to infinity and even when the focus ring is at infinity as well, the distant subject does not align on my focusing screen. Please help.

I use Leica and Hasselblad cameras and as such I am seeking a

reliable and quality oriented printer. Since I use high quality

lenses, I do not want the prints to come out with less than high

quality. What good is it to use a great lens if the printer is using

low grade equipment. I want my prints to be as sharp and contrasty

as the lens that made them. By the way, I am in New York so I am

looking for somewhere local.
