I was bored at home and came up with this. Comments appreciated.

John, Thank you for your comments here and elsewhere. They are much appreciated.
I suppose I could Photoshop out the Palm Tree (Left). At the time, I was thinking that it added a little balance and a unique perspective.

I really like the contrast of the colors here. How long was the exposure? It almost seems like a long exposure but at the same time not.
I kinda wish I could see the "H" shape of the vent though.

I really like this shot and I'm personally into low light photography. So my question is: How on earth did you get the tail lights without the headlights illuminating the road?
Also... I love the rest of your portfolio. I've ALWAYS wanted to get into sports photography. In particular, Surfing. Great stuff in there.

Thanks for your comments. Yeah it is a little over exposed but this shot was taken at around 11:00 PM and since security is tight around this place, I had to use a 300mm lense to get this close.
I've been trying to work on low light photography the most but it is rather frustrating having to wait for prints to come back in order to see how it turns out. That's why I'm currently saving up for a DSLR.

This is the Kaiser Cement plant in the Los Altos Hills, CA.

Tony: Thank you for your comment. I too liked the clouds in this shot and I do actually have this shot in landscape just to see the difference once printed.
I think the reson I like the vertical shot better is because some of the rocks seem to get a little too busy and contrasty with all the shadows when in landscape.

I really like this picture. It's subtle yet saying something to me. Now I just need to figure out what it's saying.
Great shot!

I have no clue what flower this is; or if it's even classified as a
flower due to the thistle like nature of it but either way, it's a
desert plant from Joshua Tree, CA. I have another shot of this but I
dropped out the color in the background (Photoshop) so that just the
plant itself is colorized.
