Is it worth installing Nikon Picture Project 1.6 for my Nikon D200 if Ive got

Adobe Photoshop CS2 with all the right plugins for NEF RAW? (its what iam

mainly going to be shooting in) Ive heard that PP 1.6 will overide CS2 when

using RAW.

 

Plus - Anyone have problems with cable release fitting in the socket? maybe

its because ive bought a cheap one but it only goes halfway in and i dont want

to ruin my new D200 forcing it in.

The Jianisi remote release (only available off ebay) seems to be the only

cheap alternative for a D200. Just wondering if anyone has had any problems

with it?

I am new to digital as well so iam sure someone will give you a more indepth answer but it seems like Chromatic Abberation which will happen more on wider apertures. You can clean this up in later photoshop versions.

Ive been given one of these for christmas 2nd hand and am I right in

thinking it has no bulb setting? The manual given with it is for

the ETR Si which states it has a bulb feature. Might have to take

it back if not as its what I use 70% of the time.

Iam interested in the 503CW body and that alone is out my price

range. Iam thinking about selling on the Digital back, does anyone

know if the V96C is seperately packaged and if this would be

feasible?

I ve got a manfrotto 055CL which is great but I am backpacking round

Southeast Asia for 2 months though not a lot of treking will be done

and now I am starting to pack its looking a bit heavy. Anyone had

experience with lugging round a fairly heavy tripod in asia?

Still awaiting the two colour films (Superia 800 (X-tra) pushed 1600) as my town didn't have any labs that can do push processing. But the B&W (Neopan 1600) turned out very well considering it was my first time shooting a gig. I only bought 3 films which I shot in 2 hours and probably could have done with more. Very much enjoyed it as well as I was able to kneel at the front for quite awhile.

Anyone have any experience with pushing the film to 1600?

 

I am thinking about using it at a gig tonight.

Ive just found out that because the F80 does not have an infrared reciever built its not possible to use one but does anyone know if the nikon Remote cord MC-12B ...
