We own a s&p standard schnauzer with natural ears, and the pooch on the left looks just like him, so this picture immediately caught my eye. I'm no expert, but just wanted to say I really enjoyed this one.

Thanks for your comment. You have an interesting perception. The front flower close to center is tied in with the flower directly behind it which actually draws it into the third upper right hand quadrant. The lighting is completely natural and is coming from a 45 deg angle which creates shadows on the front flower as well as illuminating the one directly behind it (which is facing upward toward the sun). Maybe it's not quite as crude as one may think.

I know what you mean about the alien feeling. They're so enormous, kind of reminds me of the movie Contact. This farm is near Pincher Creek, Alberta. Beautiful country. -

Thanks for the positive criticisms. You guys are right. I'm not sure why I didn't remove the left windmill. I've cropped it out before and liked the end result. I should've used the cropped picture instead of my original. I wasn't sure about the frame. You have confirmed my doubts on that. Thanks again for your input.
