I like the framing of this image.

Going postmodern, Ugo? I like it!

Very original. Love the juxtaposition of the clean, graphic lines of the subject with the soft focus treatment.

A truly great street shot. I love it!!

I like this, especially the feeling of movement suggested by the wet sand. I like the pole, but I think I would maybe like it even better without - possible a nice abstract effect.
-
It could use some additional contrast, but I like the hectic sky above the flat, still ground.

Wonderful image; very well done!

great feeling to this!

I don't understand the relatively low ratings on this; I think it's great!. Very subtle and beautiful.

Magical lighting and great composition. I love the way the swirl of the sky is 'anchored' by the geometry of the gate.

I think this is the first butterfly/flower image I have ever commented on, but it really caught my eye. Great composition, but the lighting is even better. Just beautiful!

I am (almost) speechless. Everything about this image is exactly right. Breathtaking!

This is WONDERFUL! I love the dog's expression and the feeling of balance as he looks up at us while the hill slopes down behind him. Also, really excellent exposure vales. Great job all around.

Mike: I have just been enjoying a nice browse through your folder. There are so many nice images that it's hard to know where to start, so I'll start here with the most recent! I love this it's extremely evocative, as are many of your images. Lovely mood. It puts me in mind of your Cottonwood in a Storm, which I also love. I am not usually a huge fan of photoshop effects, but this one is quite nice.

wonderful composition. Quite subtle and effective.

very evocative; I like it very much.

I love the composition. It's very original and balanced perfectly.

Kevin, I am confused about what exactly you are conveying. Also, the blurred rail on right keeps drawing my eye away from the rest of the image. Looks like an interesting location.
p.s. I am editing this comment - back to say that I just looked through the rest of your portfolio and don't believe this one is representative of the talent shown in the other images you have posted.

I would crop the top to omit the bottom window sash and at bottom to the place where the top pillowcase ends. This would eliminate a lot of visual distraction and focus on those wonderful smiles. Great moment!

Nice lighting and mood; the feel matches her expression.
