1)...document living conditions in the Navajo and Hopi nations. Title: "An American Disgrace".

Thank-you everyone! (much as I had suspected--there isn't a lot of difference.between cards..) Now, onto the "learning curve" of a new camera!
-
Having just purchased my first DSLR (Canon 50D) and having made the leap from an EOS3...is there any meaningful
difference between the "memory cards"? I ordered an "Extreme IV" (4G) as an interim measure, however when I add an
additional 8 or 16G card which ones are preferred?
Thanks---and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Try Tempe Camera..

Why would a Leica even need a counter? and how high would it (have to) go? 25 exposures (or so)?
-
"Unlimited resources"...Hmmm. Leah, you don't happen to own a liquor store also, do you?
-
Yes--I did that to my Luna Pro also, I just don't want to spend $40 on a $5 meter...

I found an old light meter, it takes a PX675 (long extinct)...my question: It
seemed that the mercury batteries lasted nearly indefinitely in a "low drain"
use like a light meter..will the Wein "air cell" have the same sort of
longevity?

..O.K.--I'm assuming "indifferent".

O.K.---A Baldamatic 1 "fell" into my posession, 45/2.8 Baldanar lens (I assume
this is some kind of "Planar" configuration), Prontor SLK shutter mechanism, on
the lens: "Balda Werke Bunde"--on the camera base, serial #109912. (enough of
that stuff...) My question: Since this camera appears to be in fine to really
great shape, what quality image is is capable of? Should I try to track down a
manual, (a little help here..), and make it a "user"--or merely keep it by the
IkoFlex as being too counter-intuitive to fool with? Any information, good/
bad/indifferent? would be appreciated...

I've been shooting my EOS3 for over 5 years..it exceeds the abilities that now have, or ever will have....

Gene's the man to do it...

Canonet w/a 1.7 ought to do it.

Most of the Ikoflex's I've seen (mine included) are nearly mint condition because , unless you shoot with it regularly--you're going to go nuts trying to remember how to work it....they get "shelved" after a while. I need to re-educate myself everytime I pull down the Ikoflex....and it's not particularly intuitive in it's operation(s).

Every Sigma lens I've ever owned was "hit or miss"....

Is there anyway you could "archive" your "found film" photos--in the
presentations (as you displayed them)? I feel this has turned into an
important "body of work" and needs to be preserved--somehow.
I always look forward to your latest "finds".

Whichever one you happen to have in your hand...

After lugging 2 Pelican cases full of gear and 2 tripods onto the houseboat, (at Lake Powell), getting 15 miles uplake, I discover, "NO FILM"! (of course no digital either....)
It was however, a very relaxing trip--not having to worry about taking ANY pictures whatsoever....

...using that logic, how did you EVER manage to buy a computer?

I was (and still do) shoot an EOS-3 with a good selection of dedicated lenses..however, I wanted to move into "medium format" and after having spent a "mint" on Canon glass, I really couldn't afford a Hasselblad outfit...so I bought a Yashicamat, then an Ikoflex, then an old Rolleiflex (c.1946), then another older Rolleiflex (c. 1936)and finally a Fujica G690BL....now I don't even WANT a Hasselblad....(and mysteriously, Cannonet QL-17's and Ansco Shur-Flashes (6X9's)and Cannon A-1's have also "turned up" beside them...)

Pretty sure this was the same day...
