In my opinion, one very important element in this photo are the two out-of-focus people in the background. Without them this picture would be lacking something. All in all it's a lovely picture, and the DOF you chose is perfect.

In my opinion the amount of the mist in this photograph is just right. You've got beautiful division of space and the alternating bands of dark and light tones give this photograph some much dynamic rythm that works very well. The contrast is beautiful and I have to say I really like the toning.

Wonderful colours, however what really makes this photograph work for me is the black mountain range separating the blue and white skys with the green/red (sea?). The contrast between these colours also draws me into the image. The lighting is very nice and any photoshop manipulation was very well done. Congratulations!

This photo draws my eye into the image very well, and the staircase leading into the ocean makes me want to walk down the stairs and into the ocean. Very nice abstraction using the given elements and excellent perspective. The limited range of colours is very nice as well.

I like the way the three horizontal stripes of colour lead my eye across your photograph. The DOF you chose was very appropriate for the subject and exposure was excellent. However I still believe this photo lacks something to keep me interested, my eye gets bored very quickly. Sorry, I can't seem to figure out what exactly it needs. Keep photographing.

I like it, however the window is too centred for me.

I've seen this before (very similar that is), in a book printed in the 70s from Time-Life. It was part of a series and I think it was called Colour or Colour Photography. Either way, it's a very unique photograph and has marvelous colours. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the grain, I think it gives the image a lot of character, nice colours as well.

Finally! Someone else who uses an FG-20, probably a much underrated camera body! Back on topic: I love the power expressed in this image through the use of a fast shutter speed, good job.

Although all of the images in this folder are very well done, I have to say that the first one and this one are my favorites. I this photograph I can just feel the immensity of the buildings which seem to press inwards-down on the tree, kinda claustraphobic (sorry if my spelling's bad). Nice work.

I love the atmosphere the grain lends to this photograph, there is also a great deal of movement as well, which I like.

I like this much more than a traditional flower photo.

I like the way the grain of this photograph ephasizes the roughness of his beard, the lighting is also very well done. Nice work.

Much too large..

Nice, but this photograph might have been nicer if you included a bit more of the surroundings, the glare on the leaf is slightly distracting as well, colour is great though.

No, not cluttered, it is a very strong and atmospheric photograph and your work in the darkroom certainly paid off. The only thing iI'd like to see different in this photo is that the tall formation in the centre of the frame hold some texture, like the nearest formation.
