    Cathedral Grove, near Port Alberni, it's an old growth forest.

     

    ...and another recommendation for the Tofino/Ucuelet area. The weather there is usually sunny in the summer as well as being windy and slightly cool (you're right next to the ocean). You can also expect to see fog some mornings. As for crowds, if you get up early you can escape the crowds just about anywhere, but by mid-day expect plenty of people (esp. on the beaches).

    ...to add onto what Eric said, I believe that the title of this forum alone is enough to restrict the content to mostly photo-orientated (sp?) dialogue. Street and Documentary has nothing to do with Leica, Canon, or Nikon and those wishing to discuss them already have the appropriate forums in which to do so.
