The Contax T is pretty good, too.

What on earth makes you think you need to trim the film for an M2 or M3? That is simply not true. It was only the screw-mount bodies that required a longer leader.
-
You screw the adapter onto the lens, and, voila! you have a bayonet-mount lens.

It's rather difficult to keep the shots, and the detail shots, straight as to which lens produced which. There seems to be one more detail shot than the four that are listed. And if the first detail shot (at the right end of the 3rd(?) column) is from the Canon 0.95, then that lens does a pretty darn good job.

These are all impressive testimonials. Better built, for pete's sake! I'm going to get the 50, and look around for others, like a 35/2 Hexanon.

Has anyone used the Hexanon 50mm f2 lens that comes with the Hexar
RF kit? How good is it? How does it compare to the Summicron-M?
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

Since about half of this image is the blacktop, why on earth didn't you use the 50? or even the 90?

Read Eric Newby's Round Ireland in Low Gear,Lonely Planet Publications, 1987. He biked around the southern and western coasts of Ireland in the WINTER, and his book is a terrific read.

Doug, does Maxwell's process for improving an older screen reduce the focusing abilities while it increases brightness? I have one of his original screens in my Rolleiflex, and I like it very much. I can focus over the entire screen easily, and it is very bright. But what I'm wondering about is the process he uses to brighten up an older screen.

You can take the partially-used film pack out IF you do it in the
dark or in a changing bag, and then put it into a lighttight box or
bag. The heavy black vinyl bag that paper comes in works very
well.

Can I use a lensboard from a 4x5 Speed Graphic or Crown Graphic on my 4x5 Super Graphic? Are they the same?

Another consideration is that the 2000 series cameras all have the longer mirror that gives you the full viewfinder image with telephotos. The 500CM cuts off a strip at the top of the screen with 150mm and longer lenses. The 2000FC/M or FC/W makes handholding a 180 or 250 possible since you can use a fast enough shutter speed (1/2000) and you see the whole image.
