1.
I just had a new corrective lens made for the finder on my Pentax 67 at my local eye clinic. We held up some different correction lenses in from of the eyepiece and determined that a +.75 diopter would work best for me. They made me one for $34 out of poylcarbonate. It would have cost a bit less out of a cheaper plastic, or a little more if I'd have opted for an ant-reflective coating. It works great. For a cheaper solution, you could get a pair of reading glasses, and sand down the edges until you got a round lens of the correct diameter.

 2.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I particularly like the idea of processing larger sheets crosswise in the trays. For my contact sheets, I realized that I need the 8.5" width, but not the 11" length, so I trimmed my sheets down to 8.5 x 10 and they fit my 8 x 10 trays just fine.

 3.
I just moved up from a Mamiya 645 to a Pentax 67, and seem to have come up against a small problem. In order to fit all ten of a roll of 67 negatives on a single contact sheet I need to print my contact sheets on 8.5x11 paper. But 8.5x11 paper won't fit in my 8x10 Paterson trays. I know I could process the 8.5x11 paper in 11x14 trays but I need to stack 11x14s on a ladder to get them in my sink. So, can anyone recommend a particular brand of 8x10 trays that is slightly roomier than my Patersons, and will accomodate 8.5x11 paper? If you use a brand other than Patersons, could you take a piece of 8.5x11 copy paper and see how it fits in your trays? Thanks much.

 4.
Does anyone know where I can buy a diopter adjustment lens to put in the finder of a Pentax 67? I just bought the camera and the viewfinder is a bit fuzzy. I always used a +1/2 setting on my Mamiya 645 E, so I'm thinking of a +1 diopter for the Pentax, because the manual says they come in full steps.
Is this something that must be made specifically for this camera, or can something else be adapted?
Thanks.

 5.
I'm thinking of upgrading my Mamiya 645E and am leaning toward a Pentax 67. But I'm thinking I should also consider a Mamiya RB, so what are the comparative pluses and minuses?
I always use a spot meter, so a manual camera is fine, and I always use a tripod. It would be used for field work (abandoned buildings and vehicles, cemetery statues, etc). I'd need a shift lens, a normal lens (a zoom lens in the normal range would be nice), and a telephoto in the 300mm range.
Thanks

 6. Does anyone know enough about the electro/chemistry of these things to offer a prediction as to how silver-free the fixer will be, and if that silver level will be low enough so it won't kill off all the necessary bacteria in a septic system if I dispose of my spent fixer there?
