Gerry, thanks for the advice. Yeah, great little camera, mines getting used almost everyday.

What a finger stretch though to get both the shutter and MF button at the same time�.damn those monks.

Greetings, Seems as if there is a lot of knowledgeable hexar users here and i would like to ask a question regarding manual focus.

I recently acquired a Silver Hexar without the manual and would like to know how to set the hyperfocal distance in advance for street shooting from the hip. The auto focus and infinity I have down, it�s setting the camera focus manually, using the + and � (I think) that I can�t figure out.

Ultimately what I�m trying to do is set the camera focus in advance with a decent DOF for shooting from the hip on the street with out relying on the auto focus.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info, both the link and the spreadsheet are highly informative and I�m sure in the future I�ll be referring to both.

My question though was more in regards to actually setting the hyperfocal distance specifically with the Konica Hexar Silver. The camera has three different modes of focus auto focus, infinity and manual focus.
