I didn't notice the shadow until I read Ciprian's request message, and even then it's not distracting, considering the other shadow, that of the lady, adds to the picture, this one kind of goes along with it. Don't bother with the shadow, Ciprian. Simply fantastic! I am truly amazed!

I like to think of it as: The beast and it's trainer. :-D

The lens was the new 50-200. Yes, it's damn sharp! Cheers and seeya soon!

I've seen quite a few of these freshly-popped-lit-bulb shots, this one however has to be one of the best done, thanks for sharing and it's one amazing shot!

Amazing, I love this shot, every aspect of it, the message it sends out, the timing, sharpness, detail, you name it, it's got it. Congratulations!

An event in connection to the preparations for Vancouver 2010
Olympics. Event itself was fairly boring but I got some interesting
shots from it. Comments and critique invited and appreciated. Thank you.

I noticed that too, lol.

This is not my usual subject matter, but I do enjoy shooting cars and
bikes whenever I get a chance. I had a slow cheap second-hand zoom to
work with bit the optical quality seems OK. Thanks for comments.
Mark, thanks for the comment!

Shot with the Tamron 90mm SP F/2.8 AF Macro lens. F8, 1/125, ISO400.
If you pay attention you can see a big ship right in the middle and a
distant Navy ship to it's right and some kind of "fan thing" on the
left of it. Not to mention the divine sunset and the myst covered
mountains. I am perfectly satisfied with the black area so don't tell
me to crop it. Comments welcome, thanks.

I used the wrong white balance setting to get the normal street light to glow like the sun, and those little droplets are water after the rain.
