    It is not the default view that I am having a problem with although I did not look through all the pictures there to find mine, it is the category view of 'Pets' which only allows "average" to be selected. This is generally the only way that I can find one of my photos in the gallery. I thought if the picture was rated poorly to start, the rate recent interface would stop showing it but this picture has decent rates so I am confused.

    Thanks Michael, I don't think the management would like it if I came here every time my pictures fail to show up in the gallery. I think there is some formula of number of anonymous rates from rate recent and/or rate by category in order for a picture to show up in the gallery. If so then the rating interface failed to present my picture to enough raters to satisfy the rule... so thats why I think there is some sort of bug or defect in the rating interface.

    I have a picture that was uploaded yesterday and critique requested. The

    category for the critique request is 'Pets'. It has four rates and two

    comments but does not show up in the gallery when sorted by category Pets. 24

    hours have passed but it does not show up in the three day filter either. It is

    shown in the critique forum under the 'older critique requests'. Does it need

    more rates? If so, how should I go about soliciting rates?
