Try to use the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org). You can file a complain online and they will contact the company and try to solve the problem for you (for free). It works very well, I?ve got a rebate on an Optix XR system that the company was "forgetting" to send me.

Try to use the services of the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) to complain about it with Lexar (it is free and you can file it online). It worked for me on an Optix XR rebate...

I can't help you decide, but I can tell you that the EOS 33 is a very good camera. I have a Rebel 7E (EOS 30), the one with eye-control, and I love it. It does everything I need it to do.

Has anybody used a Digital Rebel (EOS 300D) with a Wein Safe Sync

(Hot Shoe to Hot Shoe + PC adapter) to trigger studio flashes via pc

sync cord? Does it work?

I like two chromogenic films: Ilford XP2 and Kodak T-400CN (both printed on B&W paper). However, I have never scanned these films negatives.

You can buy 58mm filters (that will fit on your 28-105mm lens) and a step-up ring (52mm to 58mm - $6.00 at B&H), then you can use your filters on both lenses.

BestBuy got some Digital Rebels(only the kit) on Saturday. They are selling it by ~ $999. I saw one in their Fort Collins, CO store last Sunday. It is a little heavier than the Rebel Ti. Be aware that the kit comes without a CF card, so make sure you buy one with the camera.

Anyway, I could resist the temptation to buy it right now. I still hope that after this initial interest is over the prices can go down a little bit.

You should ask a Canon Service Center in New Zealand (try to get a written answer), but the answer is probably yes!

I'm living in the USA now, but I will go back to Brazil next year, so I had the same doubt about the warranty. Because of that I asked a Canon Authorized Service Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil, if they would provide service under warranty for products purchased in the USA with a Canon International Warranty. They said they would have no problem doing that, because the international warranty is also valid in Brazil.
