Good stuff. I love the girl's striped socks and the small distance between the horizon and the dramatic clouds. This is a great image...I would try to critique it if I felt I could add anything, but its way beyond my abilities. Nice work.

Wow, now I know what Hiroshige and Hokusai were thinking of when they carved their ukiyo-e. This is a fabulous shot -- one that I am sure that JTB would love to get their hands on.
Nice to see you are using the F1-N! My favorite camera.
Excellent work.

If you have a Leica, Luigi Crescenzi can make you a very nice case out of one of these...
Kidding of course. It is a great photo. Much better for having two heads with very different expressions. The one in the background almost seems to have told the other one about an infidelity or something. "I'm sorry, I have found someone new. The peacock from down the street." Great photo.

This is great. It is not very obvious what it is for the first second or two. The bright saturated colors and deep black really makes this photo stick out. Did you illuminate this somehow? Other than that, I think you must have a good photographer's eye and imagination to craft a shot like this. Very fun.

This is a very cool shot, but I am curious...wasn't this guy already dead? These boys don't really look like Bulgarian natives...especially not during what appears to be winter. This doesn't really detract from the photo, I am just interested as to whether this bad boy will be clinging to my pant leg if I ever make it to Sofia.

This a fabulous shot. I am curious, what kind of shutter speeds are you using to capture the hummingbird?

A beautiful picture. I am sure it has much more meaning to you than just a simple photograph, but it more than holds its own as an artistic photograph. Congratulations on the baby!

I like this photo very much. I think I would like it better though if the lobsters were in sharper focus. It is a fun shot nonetheless. Nice work.

This is a really funny photograph to me. As you said, it might be nicer if the cow on the right was in better focus....ideally (for me), both would be in focus. I imagine you were handholding and could not shoot at a smaller aperature? In any case, I don't think it is too dark. It is a great photo. Nice work.

a beautiful photograph. Did you use some sort of filter? The sun is almost green...was that just the weather, or was it some effect you added?

I love the angle at which this was taken. It really adds drama and interest to the composition. The orange door on the helicopter also really helps, given the bland overall colors of the photo. I wish my beginning photos were this good! Molodets! (if you are Russian...I am guessing you are Ukrainian, but I am sure it is close...if not, nice job!)

muy muy bueno!
Está muy ingenioso y bien hecho.
I really like this shot!

The cows certainly make the shot. Especially the one looking toward the photographer. The expression is priceless. That said, I suppose I am not so keen about looking at the business end of the horse, but that probably could not be helped. A humorous effort -- nice work.

I guess I like this photo so much because of the utter stillness other than the child. This is obvious of course, but it is more than just that nothing is moving -- nothing is CAPABLE of moving: there is no grass to blow in the wind, no other children -- nothing alive at all. This, the contrast between the blur and the crisp bakground, and the simple colors make for a striking image. Nice work.

Your photos are fantastic. I love the perspective, and the way it flattens the scene -- it almost makes it look more like a collage than a photo. Very cool.

I like this shot. The dad is obviously trying very hard to amuse the kid. The funny part is that he has the more baby-like expression, while the child is relatively serious. It is a nice little role reversal. The only thing I would have liked to change would be to remove the object blurring his folded hands.

I am curious as to whether people think this is a successful photo, and what could be
improved. It is one of my recent favorites. It was taken on Tri-x, developed in Rodinal and
shot with a 35mm f/1.4 lens.
