Hola Imanol!, lo que me parece del por que no ha "gustado" se basa en que el sujeto si bien en foco carece de "importancia" ya que la brillante luz del fondo hace que pierda importancia. Si fuese al revés, o si al menos estuviesen balanceados, la composición estaría bárbara!

De nada y gracias por la respuesta. Sip, causa un buen efecto. De hecho es interesante la resaltación en colores de una representación de forma de vida ficsticia. Contrasta con el lugar y al mismo tiempo no deja de ser lo mismo. :)

I really like it, i only think cant be really enjoyed on the screen of photo.net... it is too minimalistic to be presented in this semi loaded space.

Hola Imanol, son verdaderos los puntos de Armindo, pero las reglas están para romperse en muchos casos. Por ejemplo que el hombre no mire hacia la foto sino hacia afuera puede también indicar una necesidad de escape (psicológica) del ambiente propuesto. En esta composición funciona muy bien dada la postura del hombre y la estaticidad que brindan los postes del fondo, el relieve de la arena; el poste central no sólo ofrece una simetría conceptual opuesta al hombre sino que también funciona como punto relacionante (comodín) al sujeto verdadero de la foto por verticalidad y sombra.

Me encanta este trabajo, felicitaciones.

Good photo, it is interesting to see the human thirst of knowledge about its own origin using its own hands... creation/recreation.

In my opinion works in this way:

 

The contrast of colors are balanced with the contrast between the corrosive textures and the smooth angelic curves from the key hole.

 

At least this is how it works for me :)...

I think she is just stucked. Her past at her back is pulling her down, her fears regarding her past makes her not able to continue in present time while waiting for the inexistant future.

Im not afraid of the witch, neither of her eyes... she is still able to produce magik, and so she will...

Muy buen retrato Andres, la luz incide muy bien en la expresión de Julio. Quizas yo trataria de reducir el brillo de la luz en su mano, aunque el hecho de que distraiga en un principo la vista de su rostro es tambien interesante.
