It would be easier to evaluate if your image was larger on the screen. Anyway, I think this is an excellent shot with great balance and I like the thoughtful expression of the fisherman. -

Was this a digital shot? The noise may be the result of a long exposure on a CCD. Not much you can do about that other than removing all filters in front of the lens to increase the amount of light entering the camera and doing some work in photoshop afterwards.
Looks like the surface of Jupiter! Beautiful.

About the longest exposure one can get away with on digital cameras
circa 2001 (otherwise gets too noisy). Thoughts? Was it successful?
