Does this work? I'm selling a Zeiss Ikon camera body and someone wants to know if goggled Leica lenses will work on it. I have my doubts, but I want to know from anyone who is certain. Thank you.

My last roll will go in one of my M2s. And I hope soon, as it is, while in the freezer, way out of date.

Tom, that first shot is really terrific!

Also, I would always mount the lens fully, locked into place. If for no other reason, I had a 50 'cron rigid fall off an M3 once when it was not quite locked into place. There's no reason to take the chance.

When using a 40mm lens, I always found the 35 lines more comfortable on an M2. You will see a bit more than you'll get, but it's easier that a slight obstruction using the 50 lines. Bill is right. The 35 framelines of the M6 and, from my experience, the RD-1(s) is almost exact for a 40mm lens.

David, the 25 ZM frameline is only an issue with the M8. Otherwise, an external finder would be used. Popflash has been selling one with the 24/35 flange for the M8. The 25/4 LTM lens would work on the M8 with a 35/135 LTM-M adapter and with any adapter on any M if an external finder is used.

I like a combination of the responses for value, plus a slightly different 90.
