I don't like at all the colour treatment. To be honset, for me the main interest of this one was to give me occasio to have a look on your portfolio which contains better things!

    Friendly, Philippe

  1. The 2 versions are good, the cropped and the not cropped. I think I prefer the cropped one. I'm not sure at all of the inetrest of the sharpenning. It let some uncomfortable refflects on the man's face. I think that a colour correction would have been better. Anyway a very good shot.

the picture has some interest, like humour and spontaneity (not such a common quality!), but it could be much better with some technical adjustment: at least color correction, as it lacks of contrast, and maybe something with the composition.

The interesting idea expressed in your comment doesn't emerge clearly from your picture. And I feel a lack of power, maybe due to the central composition, or to the low contrast. Could be better.

I also think that the colour treatment deserves a picture wish has many qualities otherwise. The A1 of Michael seems very severe.
  2. I like the picture and the tiltle. Before reading the title, the picture made me think to a father (me, for example...), showing this frog to his children. The sadness of the sight of the frog tells a lot about the difference of points of view! So I was surprised by the title!

Very good light and colours. As a runner, I specially appreciate the mood! I wonder about the cropping. Couldn't the lower part of the image have been cut a bit (and I wonder about my english, is this understandable?)?

    Yours,

    Philippe.

Sorry but I don't like this one. The colours of the sky don't match with those of the mountains, themselves lacking of contrast. Too much PS, maybe?

Il y a de bien meilleurs clichés dans le reste de ton portfolio.

    amicalement, Philippe

  3. Shot during a few days walk in the Loïtas hills. The ambience was very friendly and I strictly avoïded to annoy anyone with my camera. So, no "folkloric"picture.

Thi guy had just taken a new wife, and was rather proud of her. He asked me to take this "wedding picture".
