    Having tried panning at fast shutter speeds, to achieve sharpness,

    and using panning at slower speeds, to instill a sense of motion, here

    I used no panning and a slow (1/80th sec) for create an artistic

    result. My wife hates it.

    Thanks, but you give me too much credit.

    #1This is one of the 500 snaps that I took. It's a tough venue for photography. The light seems bright but not so much for the camera. I have a f 2.0 lens. They move fast so you need a reasonably fast shutter speed. The high ISO adds digital noise.

    #2 I didn't remove the fence from the player - it just becomes less obvious when you brighten the image.
