Great title.

Great job John. Really like the colors here. Simple, yet elegant.

No comment. Guess you had to be there.

Maybe just a touch more contrast and saturation. Or not~!

I wish I could write the sound that this makes me hear. wwwwwwrrrrrrrpppppppppppp. Something like that. =)
Not sure about the sky myelf. I kind of like it myself. Good job.

I think this is an excellent kitty shot. He fits perfectly where you have him framed. Just curious, how did he look in color?

My mouth is staying closed after yesterday.

I think square is a little too much crop for my tastes. I'd rotate slightly and go for a 5:4... Nice shot though.

Well worth effort. =)

Great job Kristen. Love that cameo.

Nothing like a good old Dietz to light the way.

Reminds me of a good old clove hitch. Nothing like a good knot. And that weathered wood really sets it off.

Thank you Ken. It's nostalgic for me =)

Final note: I have since decided that I like the original version best, but if I was going to crop it it would be something like this, without any modifications to sky or by using clone brushes to remove signs, et al. So in a way I think Moutaz Alsahli had it right with his original crop, except I would do away with the lower half. Anyway...
Also this crop was actually scanned from a print, opposed to all previous versions which were scanned from negative. And I think that made it a little clearer than going from such a small negative. Okay... that's it.

Wow... that's pretty intense.

The entire image is moving, both in appearance, and in emotional impact. Very spectre-like. Just wow... this is incredible.
Moved to tears... that must have been so special. You have conveyed that feeling here.

Beautiful indeed. I do not know if I am seeing illusory, if it is a factor of barrel distortion, or, if it is in fact leaning, but to me, the bridge appears to be going downhills just ever so slightly. Then again, even after trying simple adjustments I'm not sure if any difference has been made. =?

I didn't get it right, but I think there is something a little off with perspecive. In any case I got rid of that pesky white line in the lower left.
Wild color makes this work. =)

I know of a very artistic gate -(not like this, but like this)- and I've been trying to figure out how to shoot the intricacies of the finials while contending with an unusual background. It's not easy. I think you have accomplished a difficult task. Good job.
