Excellent. This New York stuff is great. I dig those borders too...

Your work is really beautiful. I like this one in particular. I don't see many pictures of animals that I like, but yours are excellent.
-
Yeah, still love this one. Really good. The colors...

Wow, this is a really cool photo. I like the little sign: "I'd card my own mother" I like these pictures that are really dense with information, but it all seems to hang together as a composition. I think you achieved that here. The bright spot being off-center and the guy on the right keeps it all from being too symmetrical.

I like it. Got any more candid portraits like this?
-
Love this one.
-
Like they said. Beautiful.
-
Beautiful. Could have been taken by Alvarez-Bravo.
-
Thanks Balaji. I think I took this not long after seeing Friedlander's "Sticks and Stones" exhibit, which has lots of shots with the interior of his car, so for me I see this and just think of it as derivative. Maybe I'm being too hard on it. It's good to hear you like it.

Sweetness.

Another beauty.

Beautiful. I love your Polaroids, all of 'em. Nice to discover another 'roider on the net. Hope you post more of them.
-
Pure goodness. Another sweet title, I might add. Glad to see you adding more to your "midwest" folder Bobby, I dig this stuff.

Sweetness. Thanks for the tip, Balaji. I'll have to check out that book too. Speaking of films, I just moved to Berkeley and discovered the awesomest video store I've ever seen just a few blocks from my apartment, so I'm gonna have to check out some more of Wenders's movies. That and I live within a block of four theatres. I'm in a movie buff's paradise.
-
I'd have said "Alice in the Cities" :) Honestly though, you guys are good. Those are three of my favorite movies. But PT is probably my fave of the three, actually, so you were right on Andrew. Balaji, better luck next time, haha. So I knew Wenders was a still photographer, but I haven't really checked out his stuff much. Got any suggestions? BTW, I appreciate your comments, you guys are among the best here on pnet, no joke.

I dig it. Not my favorite of yours, but it continually draws the eye.
-
I like this. Can't really tell what these are, but that's cool.
-
thanks guys. I've been taking more Polaroids lately, as per your suggestion, Balaji. Good idea. You're right, I'm less inhibited with the 'roid. I think since there's less technical stuff to think about, there's less delay between my intuition and pushing the button. i.e. my brain doesn't get in the way. And since polaroids seem so disposable, there isn't any worry about whether it will be a good or bad shot. I need to approach my other stuff the same way, i think.

cool. this photo is easy on the eyes, but interesting.
-
this is cool. I like your asphalt series, have you got more of them?
-
I like this pic, and I like the centered framing, just to give another opinion.
-
Great picture. Can't think of much else to say about it at this time, because I'm sure I don't fully understand what's going on here, but it has definitely made a strong impression on me.
-
Great picture. I'm not usually into macro shots of bugs, but this one is really good.
-
Cool picture. I guess the right side is a little over-crowded for my taste, but it still works.
"Gotta light?" "No, I don't smoke...tobacco. Can I take your picture?"
